Who uses this app
esp32-lyrics is a personal, non-commercial project. Its only user is the person who built it. It is not offered to anyone else.
What data it accesses
When the owner signs in with Google, the app receives an OAuth token for the owner's YouTube account. It uses that token only to:
- read the owner's YouTube Music listening history, to find the song playing now;
- read song details and lyrics for that song.
The app does not upload, change or delete anything in the YouTube account.
Where data is stored
The OAuth token is stored only on the owner's own home server. Song titles and lyrics are kept in memory just long enough to show them on the ESP32's display. Nothing is stored in a database, sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Google API Services
The app's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
